Why Create a Website?

The first and most obvious question is why?  Wasn't website creator just a fad of the 2000s that faded away and got offshored?

Actually, you might want to do this as having a website is just part of the way our world is moving.  Like having a business card, this will potentially be the way that people find more information about you (without having to rely on facebook or some other social network).

In addition to this, there are certain things that having your own website has to offer: like storage space for your photos, other personal items, email addresses, and of course the education experience.
